Donations are not tax-deductible. For donations of $100 or more, state law requires us to report the donor’s address, occupation and employer, so please provide that information (occupation may be “retired”). We may need to contact you by email to get this information.
Important Disclosure: The Citizens to Save the Hospital committee decided not to accept donations of $50,000 or more to ensure that no one or no other organization funded our signature-gathering effort. We are all local volunteers, and our effort was funded by small-dollar contributions from local residents. California Elections Code section 107 requires us to disclose who paid for the initiative signature-gathering and whether anyone contributed $50,000. We can ensure you that no one or no other organization funded our signature-gathering effort.
